Notes of the system specification change for SCC codes（BUC）

Pleased be informed of the following the system specification change for SCC codes "BUC" used for shipments delivered to customers in ULD units due to customs requirement.
1. Applicable Cargo
Shipments reflected the "BUC" in the "SCC" column on the Booking Information
2. Effective Date
1st March 2023 (JST)
3. Contents of changes
When entering "BUC" in the "SCC" column upon cargo booking, the "BUP" code is automatically reflected in the "SCC" column on the booking information, in addition to the "BUC".
4. Background
This is because we have been notified by some customs authorities that a "BUP" code is required for cargo delivered to customers in units of ULD. (At the moment, we have not received any notification from anyone other than the customs that pointed this out.)
5. Others
・ As for the handling, there will be no change, and the handling will be based on the "BUC" as in the current handling.
・ Please do not delete the "BUP" code even though duplicate with "BUC".
・ Regardless the destination, "BUP" codes in addition to "BUC" codes will not affect the transport.
・ If customer entered only "BUP" upon booking, only "BUP" will be reflected in the SCC on the booking information.
